ksipram bhavati dharmatma
sasvac-chantim nigacchati। kaunteya pratijanihi na me bhaktah pranasyati॥ 9.31 ॥ |
Sri Krishna said: He quickly becomes righteous and attains to the lasting peace. O Arjuna, declare it boldly that My devotee never perishes.
mam hi partha vyapasritya
ye ’pi syuh papa-yonayah। striyo vaishyas tatha shudras te ’pi yanti param gatim॥ 9.32 ॥ |
Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, those who take refuge in Me, though they be even of lower birth i.e. Women, Vaishyas (merchants) and Shudras (workers), they too can attain the supreme destination.
kim punar brahmanah punya
bhakta rajarsayas tatha। anityam asukham lokam imam prapya bhajasva mam॥ 9.33 ॥ |
Sri Krishna said: What to say of the righteous Brahmanas, the Devotees and the Saintly Kings; they easily come to me. Therefore, having come to this temporary, miserable world, engage in loving service unto Me.
man-mana bhava mad-bhakto
mad-yaji mam namaskuru। mam evaishyasi yuktvaivam atmanam mat-parayanah॥ 9.34 ॥ |
Sri Krishna said: So engage your mind always in thinking of Me, become My devotee, offer obeisance's to Me only and always worship Me. Being completely absorbed in My thought, surely you shall come to Me.
