Sri Bhagavan Uvacha।

idam tu te guhyatamam pravaksyamy anasuyave। jnanam vijnana-sahitam yaj jnatva moksyase ’subhat॥ 9.1 ॥

Sri Bhagavan said: O Arjuna, because you are never envious of Me, I shall impart to you this most confidential knowledge and realization, knowing which you shall be relieved of the miseries of material existence.

raja-vidya raja-guhyam pavitram idam uttamam। pratyakshavagamam dharmyam su-sukham kartum avyayam॥ 9.2 ॥

Sri Krishna said: This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting, and it is joyfully performed.

asraddadhanah purusha dharmasyasya parantapa। aprapya mam nivartante mrityu-samsara-vartmani॥ 9.3 ॥

Sri Krishna said: Those who are not faithful in this devotional service cannot attain Me, O Arjuna. Therefore they return to the path of birth and death in this material world.

maya tatam idam sarvam jagad avyakta-murtina। mat-sthani sarva-bhutani na chaham tesv avasthitah॥ 9.4 ॥

Sri Krishna said: By Me, in My un-manifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. Though all beings are in Me, but I am not in them.

"na cha mat-sthani bhutani pasya me yogam aishvaram। bhuta-bhrn na cha bhuta-stho mamatma bhuta-bhavanah॥ 9.5 ॥

Sri Krishna said: And yet everything that is created does not rest in Me. Behold My mystic opulence! Although I am the maintainer of all living entities and although I am everywhere, I am not a part of this cosmic manifestation, for My Self is the very source of creation.

athakasa-sthito nityam vayuh sarvatra-go mahan। tatha sarvani bhutani mat-sthanity upadharaya॥ 9.6 ॥

Sri Krishna said: Understand that as the mighty wind, blowing everywhere, rests always in the sky, so do all created beings rest in Me.
